London Fashion Weekend - Part 3 - What We Saw

Included in our ticket was the chance to see a show showcasing the main four trends for A/W 15. The were four trends shown on the catwalk and here are a couple of pictures from each one.
(Sorry for the absolutely awful photos, being second row with a playing up camera made it terribly difficult!)

One and Only
This trend was about picking one colour and sticking to it! Head to toe looks came down the runway as well as bold colour clashes. This is the perfect trend for you if you like to stand out.

Candy Crush

Pastels for winter may not seem like the obvious choice but if fashion was obvious then it wouldn't be fashion!

Jungle Fever

This trend is a little more fun. Think animal prints and earthy colours as well as mixture of textures like leather and fur.

Fairy Tale Ending

Romance fell upon the catwalk as did the dresses and gowns adorned in lace, embellishment and detail. My personal favourite.

London Fashion Weekend - Part 2 - What They Wore

I have always been massively influenced by what other people wear and love putting my own twists on outfits or trends that other people are wearing. London Fashion Weekend was a mecca of inspiring and well dressed people! I wish I was brave enough to have asked other people for photos of their outfits but hopefully I shall become braver over time!

This post is just a few photos of some outfits that I enjoyed and have inspired me.

Those silver heels are from Primark! Can you believe it!?

The Best of Buenos Aires... Rapsodia!

Before I even walked through the door I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The Rapsodia shop window alone was enough to make me stop in my tracks, gawp and practically run in!

The theme here was clearly embelleshment, and lots of it! It adorned all the the little black velvet jackets and dresses. The boho maxis also covered in beads just oozed glamour. I think it's safe to say that Rapsodia was the favourite shop I walked into the entire 7 months I was away and I really hope I will be able to purchase something from their online shop someday soon.

Here are some of my favourite looks from the latest lookbook. This was very hard to cut down to just a few!

Kind of reminscent of Kate Moss' latest collection for Topshop, no?

The Best of Buenos Aires... Complot!

After months and months of South American countryside, jungle and mountains, I was happy to finally be back in a city! Buenos Aires! This was the city I'd been looking forward to the most. Everyone I'd met that had been there said it was their favourite place so far and that the two weeks I had booked there still wouldn't be enough time to do everything the city has to offer!

But more importantly, I was looking forward to seeing what the clothes shops were like and lets just say I was not disappointed. Complot was one of the first shops I found. Argentina's answer to Topshop, but for a cheaper price. Here are my favourite pieces available from the online shop!

(L-R)
T-shirt - $30
Dress - $130
T-shirt - $18
Coat - $270

Anyone else found any hidden gems abroad?

Vanessa Hudgens Coachella 2014

I´ve posted about Vanessa´s outfits at the Coachella festivals before and I have a feeling I won´t be stopping anytime soon as she continues to knock it out of the park in my opinion. Best. Festival. Dresser. Ever.
Here is my favourite look she wore this year.

The next few days will be spent finding a copy cat of this dress!

Ecuador finds!

Ecuador was full of good quality leather goods and I knew I had to get a rucksack the second I arrived and saw them absolutely everywhere. Not only are they having a fashion moment in the UK, (Cara´s Mulberry bags are to die for!) I thought it would also be a great souvenir for me to remember Ecuador buy, as well as being practical!

Woven shoes are something else I had been seeing all over the UK high street stores websites and I felt they were a great alternative to flip flops!

Here are some similar backpacks and woven shoes I´ve found.
